The Michigan Breast Cancer 3-Day Thanks You!

A BIG "Thank You" goes out to all who donated a little extra money while shopping S3 in Ann Arbor to support Kristi for the 2007 Michigan 3-Day 60-mile walk.

Combined with a Safe Sex Store contribution of $500, we raised $600, which enabled a total of five walkers reach their goal of $2,200. The money we raised will help Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund save lives.

The event began Friday Sept. 28th at Oakland Community College - Orchard Ridge, lasting 3 days and traveling 60 miles. Please read the following letters from Kristi and friends...

Attached are some pictures of the 3-Day walk that I received from one of the women that I walked with. Her letter includes the total number of walkers, number of crew, & amount raised. I agree with her when she said, "People have asked if this was a 'once in a lifetime' event for me. A few weeks before the walk I was saying - absolutely.  However, after having gone thru the event in all its glory, I will not be surprised if I'm signed up to walk or crew again next year. It was that powerful for me."
